Behold the power of Jack's snot!

Remember when I posted about Jack's runny nose almost a month a ago? We thought we made it through the snot storm since the snot came and went. Then, I realized that no, the snot didn't went anywhere - it merely traveled down into Jack's lungs and set up shop. His doctor says it's a bronchial infection, but antibiotics and an inhaler should knock it out. What the doctor forgot to mention was the horrendous diaper rash that would ensue due to the antibiotics and the massive amount of running poop that also came as part of the package. And if having his diaper changed wasn't painful enough, putting a mask over his face twice a day to get the stuff from the inhaler into his lungs sure enough freaked him out.

So, the little guy is getting back to his usual self thanks to modern medicine. The snot, however, is more powerful than any medicine and somehow managed to travel from Jack's lungs into my throat. I've spent the last 4 days in bed with a sore throat, a fever, and a cough. This thing has completely knocked me out. My doctor says it's a bronchial infection (duh). The good news, antibiotics don't give me a diaper rash. (Now, excuse me while I lay down for about three hours in order to recover from the ten minutes of effort it took me to type this post.)
