Things to do when the whole area is on fire and you are home all week with a toddler fighting a sinus infection and low grade fever - a list

1. Go to Disneyland the weekend before and crawl around on the ground.
Do this in case you might have missed picking up a germ or two
that you hadn't already at preschool.


2. Sit on Sugar.


3. Stare at your mother wondering, "What are we going to do next?"
Know that she is as bored as you.


4. Try and sit on Blue, but settle for posing next to him since he will bite your head off if you sit on him.
Believe me when I tell you to be happy with this compromise - we all win.


5. Go into your mother's closet and somehow end up in the hamper.
Where the dirty clothes are. Pick up more germs.


6. Be sure to keep a sense of humor - it's been a long week.
